The weather was great. The trail head lot was empty Easter Sunday. I started late so I didn't have time to make it all the way out to Skitwish Trail, which is my goal for this spring and summer. Instead I just walked up Mud Trail Hill into the valley just over the crest of Mud Trail Hill. This valley has a trail on each side which meet at the bottom
near the waters of Marie Creek. In the narrow bottom of the valley is a trickle which drains into Marie. These two trails make a nice loop hike on an afternoon when you are short of time. I spent about three hours, because I was stopping to shoot more than 80 pictures and lie on the earth and make clouds in the sky. The photos in Marie Creek 1 gallery are all from this hike.
