Every body counts because everybody counts.
Not only should the body count be kept up, but it should be expanded, done in every conflict, regardless of who is the aggressor.
The body count activity, along with verification and authentication tools should be developed and refined and become a permanent
part of all current and future wars. Also names and details revealing the meaning of the lives of victims should be sought out and included in the history of wars. The right of the victors to "write history" will be diminished. All victims of war had hopes and dreams just as you and I do. They are not different from us. They are us. We are them. If we can raise the victims of war in our consciousness, and in the minds of others, we can force this consciousness into the minds of the masters of war, hold them responsible, and make the perpetrators of war more and more reluctant to stampede down the warpath.
None of the victims of war is more important nor less important to the great mystery of life than the president of any country.
